River & Ridge Mercantile was born from a simple idea in DeQueen, AR as Country Girls Gifts.  Since that time in 2005 we have emerged into a bigger selection of handcrafted products.   In 2016 we moved to the outskirts of the River Valley in NW Arkansas and live life between the river and the ridge of this beautiful area we call home.    The day has finally come to launch our online mercantile store.

Between the river and the ridge is where we slow down.
Where mornings start with the smell of coffee and wood smoke.
Where kitchens fill with good food, front porches welcome neighbors, and the small things in everyday life are chosen with care.

 

The Curation of the Ridge is our way of gathering those pieces together.

From hand-poured candles, squeezable wax and handcrafted goods to kitchen staples, and simple comforts for the home, each item in the mercantile is selected because it belongs to a life that values quality, usefulness, and warmth.

 

Some pieces are made by our own hands.  Others come from makers who share the same appreciation for craftsmanship and honest living.

 

River & Ridge Mercantile is not just a store — it is a collection of the things that make a home feel lived in, a table feel welcoming, and a life feel a little more connected to the people and the land around us.

 

Because the good life isn't complicated.
